Devil's Dyke are very sad to report the passing of our longest-serving member, Norman Noble (1947-2025). Norman started dancing with Cambridge MM in 1967 and in 1975 joined the new side Staploe Hundred, which evenually became Devil's Dyke MM in about 1981. He was a superb dancer but also the nicest person you could ever want to meet, and we will miss him terribly. This picture taken by Ian Trouse at Commercial End in 2022 capsulates him wonderfully. He'd been unwell and his passing is a great loss to everyone. RIP.

You are likely to find us dancing in the area very approximately from north-east of Cambridge up to Newmarket, and then south from Newmarket nearly to Haverhill, and south-west of Cambridge, down to just north-east of Royston.
