What charities do you support?

Sometimes we are asked what we do with the money we collect. Contrary to what is occasionally said, we do not drink it! Over the years DDMM have supported a number of different charities, normally local ones. These have included the Woodland Trusts, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Macmillan Nurses, the Wishbone Trust, Emmaus, Cambridge Dial-a-Ride, Headway Cambridgeshire and most recently Jimmy's Cambridge.

From 2018 we are going to be supporting The Prospects Trust.

The Prospects Trust at Snakehall Farm is a unique social enterprise supporting people with disabilities to grow their skills on an 18 acre organic farm and garden maintenance service. The charity set down its roots in 1989 and has been growing people alongside the tastiest seasonal produce ever since. Supporting over 60 people every week to gain real work opportunities, where they shed their disabilities and harvest smiles daily. Visit their onsite shop at The Prospects Trust at Snakehall Farm, Swaffham Road, Reach, CB25 0HZ. or contact them on 01638 741551, enquiries [at] or follow Tilly Tractor on Facebook and Twitter.
