Thriplow Daffodil, 28 March 2004

Each year for one weekend around early April the village of Thriplow throws open itself and its gardens to visitors. This is known as Daffodil weekend, and usually the daffodils make it! DDMM have been one of the 'entertainments' on the Sunday since the early 1980s, and it has always been an important curtain-raiser to the main season.

This year wasn't the best for weather, but it certainly wasn't the worst we've had, particularly so for late March. We managed our usual four dance spots, two outside the Green Man, one near the church, and the other near the village hall.
