| Out of the blue early in 2003, DDMM received a phone call from the Thetford Twinning Association, asking if we could go along to their twin town in Germany for a celebration of 25 years of that town's existence. Hürth is just outside Köln (Cologne). We had been thinking of organising our annual tour for the last weekend of June and so the timing was perfect. We would stay with families in the town, and do some dancing around the town on the Saturday morning and then join in the procession and Stadtfest in the afternoon and evening. On the Sunday, we were free to go and dance in Köln, and then there was a twinning association event in the afternoon. These photos show what a great time was had by all.
