DEVIL'S DYKE MORRIS MEN

DANCING THE DYKE 2001

Back in 1991, the Devil’s Dyke Morris Men danced the 7.5 mile length of the Devil's Dyke earthwork, from which the side takes its name. This was done to raise money for VSO.

This year, on Monday 7th May, we shall be repeating the feat! The side has continued to support charities through their dancing and each year they choose a different one. In 2001 we plan to support 2 charities:

The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association in recognition of their work for the visually impaired

and

The Wildlife Trust for their work to protect the natural environment and in particular in recognition of their work to maintain the beauty and fascination of the Devil’s Dyke itself.

See a Press Release on the event.

You are invited to support the Men in their efforts by offering sponsorship and thereby helping us contribute to these worthwhile causes. If you feel able to help, please contact our bagman, Nick Kerry, on 01638 742116, or by email as nick@njkerry.freeserve.co.uk

The Devil’s Dyke Morris Men thank you for your support,
