In 2006, Devil's Dyke celebrated their 25th anniversary, which also coincided with the 30th anniversary of the founding of Staploe Hundred MM, from which DDMM developed. A special party was organised on 30 July at the Pear Tree at Hildersham, one of our favourite pubs, for current and past members of the two sides. Some 30 people attended, and it was a most enjoyable afternoon. Particularly noticeable was the presence of every female musician who has played for the clubs on a regular basis since 1976.
